Not Liking Filezilla? Then Go Grab Your Coffee Cup!
It seems quite a few people are having problems uploading the profit pulling platform to their servers. If you are using FTP for the first time it can be very confusing. The first FTP I download was Filezilla and seems a popular choice but I didn’t like it. I had problems connecting to my server and the layout in Filezilla seems too messy for my liking.
The are many FTP’s out there so you do have other choices. The one I use now and highly recommend is Coffeecup FTP. It’s extremely easy to use and there are only three windows in it so it’s very tidy and staright forward. Your computer files are on the left, server files on the right and the upload activity below. You just drag a file from the left window to the right and your done.
I have a few CoffeeCup products and they are all great. There is plenty free stuff available including a HTML editor so grab that as well.

I totally agree with you that Filezilla is simply far too messy and complicated. I use FTP Surfer which is far less complicated but I have tried using Coffee Cup as well. I maing ly use the coffee cup html editor thought. Anyway I left you a message on my blog but I thought I would leave you one here too.
Just give me a bell and I’ll definately pop round as soon as I can to lend you a hand and get Mandy back up and running.

Hi Mark,
I downloaded coffee cup because I am totally lost with filezilla, it just wasn’t doing what I wanted to. But, now coffe cup seems too easy! There is only one box (and it’s blank, did I do something wrong?) on the server side. How do I know where the squeeze pae will end up? If I shrink it, my next task to fail forward on, how do I know where it will end up?

Thanks for the tip about coffeecup http://ftp. After my free 30 day trial of Ipswitch is over, I’ll either purchase it try coffeecup. Right now Ipswitch is my favorite. There is hardly any learning curve to it. After pulling hair with Filezilla, I decided to move on.

Having struggled with filezilla, though I did manage to move the files over, I’ll give coffeecup a go.
I’m having lots of problems with this and it is beginning to get me fairly fed up.
However I’m determined to do this for myself (hopefully with lots of help) so that I know how to do it again next time I need it.
If you can help me please either send me an email (instructions you sent to Sarah?) or read what I have put on my blog and give me some tips there.
